Free broker check — no account

Is this broker real — and will they pay? Check before you book.

A free check against the FMCSA registry: authority status and history, BMC-84 bond or BMC-85 trust, complaints, MCS-150 currency, and whether the MC on your rate con belongs to a broker or to a carrier. No account, no limit. English, Spanish, Russian.

Three tools that work today

Not a roadmap. These three run right now, in English, Spanish and Russian, on a phone in the cab.

Broker check

  • Authority status
  • BMC-84 bond or BMC-85 trust fund on file, and whether it meets the $75,000 minimum
  • Complaints recorded in the registry
  • MCS-150 registration out of date
  • Registered address and phone
  • When the authority was first granted, and any revocations or suspension notices
  • Entity type: broker or carrier
  • Legal name, when it differs from the name shown
  • No MC on the posting? Search by company name and pick the one whose city and state match

If the number on the document you are about to sign belongs to a carrier rather than a broker, that is a sign of double brokering — the arrangement where the carrier can end up unpaid with nothing to claim against.

Rate con reader

  • Detention pay and the free hours before it starts
  • The window you have to give notice
  • The cap on what detention will pay
  • The documents the broker requires from you
  • TONU, chargeback and penalty clauses

Rules, not a chatbot: every finding is shown as a quote from your own document. What it did not find is listed too — what is truly not in the rate con is not owed to you, and a clause worded unusually is worth checking yourself.

Cost per mile and trip P&L

  • Your break-even per mile, from your own figures
  • What one specific run leaves you after costs
  • Industry cost lines shown beside yours, never instead of them

Nothing is pre-filled with our numbers. Until you enter yours, the field stays empty and no verdict is drawn.

Benchmarks are labelled: ATRI, An Analysis of the Operational Costs of Trucking — 2026 Update, reporting 2025 data.

Use them together and they remember: work out your cost per mile once, and the rate-con reader tells you when a load pays less detention than your floor, while the rate check shows what a run actually leaves you. The figures stay in your browser — no account, nothing uploaded.

Three facts, with their sources

In its July 2024 report to Congress, Unlawful Brokerage Activities, FMCSA stated that it receives numerous complaints about double brokering but does not hold the data to quantify how often it occurs.

FMCSA, Unlawful Brokerage Activities — report to Congress, July 2024. Checked against the document on the agency's site, August 11, 2026.

53.2% of US motor carriers operate a single truck. 90.2% operate ten or fewer.

OOIDA told the Senate that a single instance of fraud is enough to put a small carrier out of business.

How the data works

A public commitment, dated, made before collection began.

  • Records are anonymised: no names, no MC or DOT numbers, no document text, no amounts. De-duplication runs on an irreversible fingerprint, and the fingerprint itself appears in no exported file.
  • A figure in this public dataset is published only once it rests on 20 or more observations. The threshold was fixed before collection started, not after the numbers came in. (Separately, inside the app a lane’s measured rate or a broker’s median rate appears once at least 3 different carriers stand behind it; how a broker pays, and reports about it, once at least 10 do.)
  • A single command exports the aggregates, the method, and the anonymised source events, so anyone can recompute the result independently.
  • The platform never names a specific broker as a non-payer. Shares only.
As of September 26, 2026: collection has started, observations are still few — no figure has reached the 20-observation threshold, so nothing is published yet. The threshold and the method were published on September 6, 2026, before collection began.

What this does not do

A young product, built in the open. Here is what it cannot do today, so you can decide before you sign up rather than after.

  • No GPS tracking. We do not know where your truck is and we do not send check-in messages to brokers. In development.
  • No hours-of-service monitoring. Use your ELD. The compliance calendar covers filings and renewals, not driving hours.
  • No load board. We do not scan or list loads. You paste a posting and we tell you what it is worth to you. A board integration needs a data agreement we have not signed.
  • No market rate benchmarks. We have measured very few lanes so far. Rather than print a plausible number, we show nothing and say so. Where public USDA produce rates apply, they are labelled as USDA figures, not as your rate.
  • No TMS integration and no public API yet.
  • No paid plans. Nothing is for sale on this site today, and no pricing has been announced.
  • We never touch your freight money. Not a broker, not a factoring company, not a dispatcher taking a percentage.

What the outreach produced

April 2026: six email campaigns to 1,800 FMCSA-registered carriers, 135 early-access registrations. Registrations continue without paid promotion (141 unique as of September 5, 2026). Fleet sizes among registrants: from 1 to 191 trucks.

Registrations are not usage. Broker checks and rate-con reads are counted separately, and that count is published in the Changelog rather than here.

About the founder

DispaLoadIQ was founded by Iryna Kuryliuk, an economist who spent four years in the logistics department of a licensed Polish motor carrier (2020–2024), in practice running the department while the company's fleet grew from 2 to 91 trucks. She moved to the United States in 2024 and formed DispaLoadIQ LLC in Florida in December 2024. The product is built from the carrier's side of the rate confirmation: detention, TONU, notice windows, and the paperwork signs of double brokering.
